  10. The USPS has its problems.  UPS does, too.  I know some people who've had 
  11. no problems with UPS and others who have had a terrible time.  Someone 
  12. earlier in this thread that there had only been one time that he had 
  13. managed to send something UPS without problems.  As for me, I've been 
  14. using UPS and I'm not happy with them (they've messed stuff up in transit 
  15. on a number of ocassions).  They still haven't sent me a check for a 
  16. claim I made with them back in December '94 - they said that they 
  17. accepted the claim and would pay.  The place I ship stuff from locally 
  18. kept pestering them, but they wouldn't do anything about it.  This was 
  19. after a claims person dealt with it and acknowledged that UPS was at 
  20. fault and said he'd make sure they sent the check off...  Does anyone 
  21. know if FedEx is more reliable than UPS?  I just want some way to ship 
  22. things without frequent damage...  :-(
